Chiropractic Therapies and Techniques
Although the best-known chiropractic technique is the adjustment, a chiropractor may use a number of different therapies and techniques as part of an individual treatment plan. Many use their hands as the main treatment tool; there are also techniques that use handheld therapeutic devices.

Which of these Dr. Reiche recommends depends entirely on what your examination shows. Nobody is put on a standard protocol. The pages below explain what each technique is, who it suits and what a session is like.
Soft tissue and supporting therapies
Therapeutic massage
Unlike spa massage, it targets specific areas of increased muscle tension.
Chiropractic massage therapy
Massage used alongside adjustments as part of one plan.
Muscle stimulation (E-stim)
Low-voltage current used to settle spasm and reduce pain.
Therapeutic ultrasound
High-frequency sound waves that ease pain and tightness in soft tissue.
Stretching and strengthening exercises
Movements chosen for you, to increase flexibility and joint stability.
